David Goldie's flagship retail shop has been established for over 25 years and is housed in an historic Grade 2 listed building at the top of the Skipton's famous cobble-lined High Street.  It has grown to become one of the North of England's best-known family-run town and country clothing businesses, with a fast-growing band of regular customers and many others who visit on word-of-mouth recommendations.

We pride ourselves in giving an excellent service and expert advice.  Our shop offers a wide selection of quality outdoor clothing and footwear for both men and women and sells many exclusive items, many of which can be purchased from our online shop.

Our vast range of quality town and country clothing for men and ladies offers specialist coats for fishing, shooting, riding and dog walking, including Barbour, Musto, Aigle and Joules, with the best range of men's cords and moleskins you are ever likely to see.

David's footwear department includes an extensive range of wellingtons by Hunter, Aigle, Muck Boots and Le Chameau, walking boots and country shoes by Sargents, Padders, Brasher, Mephisto, Scholl, Musto, Rockport, Barbour and Lowa.  There is also a large selection of headwear, probably the best in the UK, from flat caps to cashmere trilbys, together with walking sticks and folding seat sticks.

We have recently expanded our shop and had the garden at the rear of the building landscaped to create a wildlife oasis.
